How Tactical Pajamas™ came to be

Years ago, our founder was an Emergency Medical Technician.  As a volunteer, most of his time was spent on overnight standby.  He wanted a pair of pajamas that were presentable enough to wear while lounging around the TV room at the station in the evening, comfortable enough to sleep in, and tough enough to wear under his turnout gear when a call came in.  He modified a pair of karate pants, but always dreamed of creating something a bit tougher and even more practical.

Eventually he was able to hire professional designers and prototypers to bring the product to fruition.  There were trips all over the country to look at fabrics and meet factory managers.  He finally found a U.S factory that could do the job just exactly the way he wanted it done.

The fabric is top-quality.  The Plaid Pajamas and Colonel Mike Edition are made from military-grade ripstop.  The Firehouse Lounge edition is made from a costly 55% hemp/45% organic cotton fabric that is so tough that goat farmers wear it during birthing season, and athletes wear them for kettlebell workouts.  The construction is first-rate, with NO compromises.  And all Tactical Pajamas are made right here in the U.S.A.!

There's a gusset in the crotch, for roominess and comfort.  There's a button fly, with an over-flap so you can wear them out into the world and still be presentable.  There are belt loops, so you can hang things on a belt if you need to.  There are deep, tough pockets.  And of course, the new line has an optional built-in holster!  If you need to deal with a problem in the middle of the night, these are the pajamas you need to have on.​
